« La foire aux vieux livres, archives & manuscrits »
 The central library at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik, in collaboration with Lebanon Roots , took the initiative to launch a national - scale project in 2005, entitled : « La foire aux vieux livres, archives & manuscrits». This cultural event is a place of exchange and meeting. Its principal objective aims at a sensitizing of the public opinion due to the importance of manuscripts, archives and books patrimony. It reflects part of the private life, community and nation .Two types of space characterize this event: the first is a space of exhibition in which the Lebanese libraries and the museums take part, archbishop's palaces, monasteries and the people having a private collections or others; The second is a space of sale where private antique dealers and people can expose. A whole cultural program accompanies this event, conferences, debates, workshops…
The first edition of this event or fair took place on September 29 and 30,and October 1, 2005, in the University. This event was a success at the local level. The Central Library at the Holy Spirit University has for this first organized edition an exhibition of a great scale in partnership with the National Library, the Eastern Library, the catholic Armenian Patriarchate of Bzoummar, the University Notre Dame de Louaize, the Congregation of the missionaries Lebanese (the cross), the Seminar Maronite in Ghazir and the Antonin University. Two signatures of books took place within the framework of this fair: the book "Memories" of Father Nasser Gemayel and the book of the Abbot Paul NAAMAN: "Maronites and Lebanon". Conferences, the workshop directed by Mrs. Dolly SASSINE-ESCALLIER : « Apprendre les bons gestes de la conservation », as well as an exhibition of the painter Chadi ABOU ABDALLAH «Chromatologie de la profondeur » consequently took place in the hall of the library.
The second national meeting of old book took place Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 25, 26, 27 and 28 of May, 2006. For the second consecutive year, this fair has witnessed a huge success. For the 2006 edition the Central Library chose to establish a partnership with the museum Robert Mouawad to set up an exhibition inaugurated at the same time as the fair revealing exceptional collections of manuscripts and old books. Several signatures took place within the framework of this fair: the signature of the DVD Loubnan AD dayem of Fouad Ephrem Al Boustany and its posthumous work: « Chapters of the cultural history of Lebanon », the signature of the poetry book of Mrs Nisrine El-SADDIK HADDAD, the signature of the books of Dr. Nizar Younes and finally the signature of the work of the R.Fr. Augustin Azar.
Two « Cafés littéraires » made the joy and interest of the intellectuals : a literary coffee around Da Vinci Code nimated by Dr.Nicole Chalhoub and a debate around "the Gospel of Judas" directed by the teachers of the Bible of the Faculty of Theology at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik.
An exhibition of photography "Ce que l'oiseau noir m'a raconté " of Mr. Paul Zgheib decorated the hall of the Library.
The third edition of this national meeting of the professionals of the old books will take place Thursday, Friday,Saturday and Sunday May 31st - 1st , 2nd and 3rd of June 2007.

We organized with the company Mac cosmetics, Sister Compagny of Estee Lauder, an event to present its new spring collection. This event was directed towards very selective customers of "VIP". Colors, flowers, filtered and coloured light, painted bodies, gardeners… Spring time full of freshness and hopes…
